I bought a GE front loader washer & dryer set 3 years ago. The spendal went out last week and I was told it would cost $725 to fix it. I can get a new Whirlpool or Maytag for about $600 or $700. I will NEVER buy another GE product again. Also, my family is not large with only 3 members, so I do not believe it is a hevy duty machine.
