Combo Washer Dryer Reviews: The Pros And Cons Of Using This Type Of Washer
Most combo washer dryer reviews are positive. But to a discerning consumer, lurking beyond the honeyed and sugar-coated words is crucial in order to find the caveats. It is not being nit-picky. It is just a way to set expectations and standards.
Despite the abundance of positive combo washer dryer reviews, not all are created equal. There are some brands that are whistle-baits but there are also others that are not worthy giving even a second glance. The challenge is for you to figure out which one belongs in which category and make the right decision.
The Pros
Combination washers and dryers spell out convenience. They also give another meaning to technology. Both the technology of a washer and a dryer are infused in just one machine. If that is not awesome, I don’t know what is.
I said convenience because you dump all your clothes inside and that’s it. If you get a separate stand-alone washer and dryer, you need to check on the washer every so often and find out if it has already finished washing so you can transfer your clothes to the dryer. If you are have a lot on your to-do list that day, this is no less than a hassle. With this type of washing machine, it automatically (that depending on your programming presets) transitions to the drying stage once the washing cycle finishes.
Another feature is that most of this type of washing machine has more features. I have noticed that the awesome features are usually in combos. It maybe because they have already ventured to a more advanced form of washing machine so they are taking it a step further by incorporating more features. But whatever the reason is, it is nice to find a few more features that can help us in our clothes washing needs.
The price is also one of its good points. In comparison to stackable washers and dryers and getting separate machines, it is cheaper. The more expensive ones cost around $1100 while the cheapest ones are priced for as low as $500. I cannot say for certain if the more expensive ones are better though because the cheaper ones also received great ratings.
The Caveats
You can find a lot of caveats if you have chosen a bad brand to begin with. But since we are talking on a general note, one of the cons I can see with this type of washing machine is the lack of choice. I mean you have a lot of choices in the market but basically the features are mashed up into one.
If you like the functions of the washer but feel like the features of its dryer are less competent, you really don’t have much choice in the matter because it is an all in one machine. This is probably why there are still some people who prefer purchasing separate washers and dryers so they can really choose the one the really need.
But despite that, this is still rocking combo washer dryer reviews. You can invest in this brand just as long as you know what makes up an ideal combination washer and dryer.
