To Whom It May Concern,
My biggest regret is that I pruchased a Fisher & Paykel Washing Maching and Dryer.
My clothes have never been dirtier and my clothes take forever to dry.
I have recently needed to replace the panel on my Washing Machine after hours of telephone calls and appologies and weeks of waiting, my part arrived. After installation, we then found that we need to replace the pump, motor and another part that I can’t remember at this time.
My Washing Machine and Dryer were purchased a year ago. Upon delivery of the dryer, we discovered it wouldn’t work. Called a repair man to fix the panel on the dryer before I ever got to use it. He also discovered that the top lid portion was cracked and broken. Called at that time (one year ago) and placed the order for replacement parts. I still to this day have not received these parts.
In all fairness, the consumer should be warned that all parts and commmunication is happening from New Zealand, where the ball is dropped constantly.
I have a family of seven and to describe this inconvience is impossible!
By the way, I’m on this website looking for a new machine, I can’t take this anymore.

I am wondering when we will all get together and admit it is not more efficient to do two cycles of laundry for over an hour each in hopes of getting your laundry clean and white. When my nice old large capacity washing machine cleaned just fine in 20 minutes one cycle.
I never had to do a rinse with refresh, prop a door open, or wait an hour for the washer. In fact, I was usually ahead of my dryer by a load.
I am now returning my Maytag Bravos and looking for an old fashioned dependable washing machine while they can still be found. That should last another 10-15 years and by then, maybe technology and real life will finally catch up to each other and realize, while saving water is a great idea it is not saving energy!!!
Hum maybe we’ll be lucky and find out that about mercury laden light bulbs being more efficient in the same way. Here’s to anyone else that doesn’t like dingy whites or waiting all day to do the laundry.

The Whirlpool Cabrio Washing Machine is horrible. I am surprised it is listed as number 1. It should not even be listed at all. We purchased ours in 2007 and it has already broken twice. We are looking into buying a different washing machine. There is even a I hate Cabrio facebook.
Never buy the Whirlpool Cabrio. I had problems with the dryer–replaced 3 times by Lowes within the span of 2 weeks–the noise was deafening! Whirlpool would do nothing to help. The dryer is a real problem. It is constantly off balance! All products connected to Whirlpool should be avoided–including Maytag and others. Go on their site to see what products are made by them under another name. Avoid them like the plague!
Kenmore Elite Large Capacity Catalyst Washing Machine IS A BAD CHOICE!
My machine is only 4 years old and the control panel AND motor have ironically BOTH gone bad at the same time and will cost $348.00 to fix! I gently take care of all of my appliances and this is completely unacceptable for an $850.00 appliance!
